PRISM provides graduate students direct opportunities to engage with industry through:
- Joint research programs and collaborations, both on an individual research group level and on the level of larger focus centers (MIRTHE, PCCM, CNSA)
- Assistance with invention disclosures and intellectual property
- Participation in the annual PRISM industry-university symposium
- Interactions at the PRISM weekly seminars and the PRISM central shared facilities (IAC, MNFL)
All of the above activities enable students to initiate informative discussions and establish contacts with on-site industrial and entrepreneurial PRISM participants and to develop personal perspectives on a career in a materials-science-driven sector of the global economy.
