A primary mission and goal of the Princeton Materials Institute is to stimulate interaction and collaboration with industry, government and academic institutions throughout the world. An output of a joint research effort in the Institute's focused areas of quantum materials science, optical materials and light matter interactions, living and soft materials, advanced materials for energy, environment and sustainability, and advanced manufacturing and integration for scalable structures. This objective is met by the rapid exchange of ideas, people, and scientific tools and methods. Proposal and Project Administration The business office partners with traditional departments and the larger research community across the University to support and advance the mission of the Institute by providing expertise in the area of research administration amongst others.
